The VV-RV series Silica Gel Filter have a stable valve part made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide and are designed with a refillable adsorber cartridge. Therefore, the adsorbents of this series have a long maintenance interval and favorable maintenance costs. The plastic casing filled with desiccant mixture ensures effective drying of the supplied air. A 3μm filter also cleans the sucked air. This series contains an activated carbon layer and spill guard to separate escaping oil mist. thus protecting the desiccant and the environment from contamination. This guarantees cyclic self-regeneration and, therefore, very long maintenance intervals.
When the adsorber is saturated, the desiccant and all other worn components of the internal system can be replaced at low cost. The stable valve section protects the adsorber from unnecessary loading, allows it to be used in extreme and dusty ambient conditions and ensures minimal pressure build-up even at high air flows.
